Generally you will need a surveyor when you buy or sell a home or parcel of land. A survey will locate the corners of the property described in your deed. It will usually be accompanied by a written legal description and a drawing of the property.
The cost of a survey depends on many variables: The scope of the survey, the lay of the land, the time of year, the size and shape of the property, the field evidence (iron pins, corner stones, monumentation, etc) and deeds from former owners.
We will be glad to give you an estimate of the proposed cost before we start the work after looking at the job site. |
